Description
Save time and remove the guess work when installing new doors into existing frames with the HingeJig™. This self-clamping jig comes with everything needed to rout hinge and latch mortises onto new doors. The self-clamping feature holds the HingeJig™ in place while routing without the use of screws or nails that can leave holes in a finished door.

- Create Latch Plate Mortises: Kit includes templates to rout common door latch mortises sized 1” x 2-1/4” , 1-1/8” x 2-1/4” , and 1-1/8” x 2-3/4”
- Built in Depth Setting: Set router bit depth with built-in depth setting gauge for smaller or larger size door hinges
- Self-Guided Router Bit: Includes custom router bit with ball bearing to cut clean and smooth door hinge mortises
- Built-in Storage: Contains built in storage compartments for router bit and available self-centering hinge bit (not included) for convenient retrieval
- For Doors Only: Not for use when routing door hinges on jamb / frame
